About EASS:
The Employers Association of South Sudan (EASS) was established in 2012 as a collective of businesses and is officially registered with the Ministry of Justice. Its primary purpose is to act as a representative body for businesses, addressing labour and social concerns within the Republic of South Sudan. While EASS maintains a productive and cooperative rapport with the Ministry of Labour, it operates independently from the government as a private entity.
It upholds a non-political, non-partisan, and non-religious stance. Throughout its existence, the International Labour Organization (ILO) has been actively involved in bolstering EASS's capabilities in South Sudan. This assistance has been aimed at enhancing the association's capacity to efficiently provide essential services to its members, steer labour policies, engage in advocacy, and serve as a representative authority for its members in all matters related to labour
